Geography
Village situated on a hill overlooking the area.A plain bordering the Agout 9 km, the village is located on a dominant hill where a landscape of clay-limestone begins. Brazis is located along the Agout south side of the City.
History
The territory of FIAC has always been colonized by animals and man.
In the vast and fertile plain, the foot of the hill where the village sits, just touch the Agout, plow uncovered and still unearth dozens of prehistoric objects. In the village the remains of the castle of xii century show a history more or less trouble, especially when the Cathar heresy and religious wars.
From the Revolution, the life of the population of FIAC was closely linked to the jolt of national history. It was a predominantly agricultural and artisanal population living in autarky with much agricultural land quality that allowed them to cover all their needs.
The two world wars have punctured a large percentage of the male population.Large landowning families have marked the life of the Commune, either because they were called to assume responsibility for managing the City or by the economic burden posed by their properties. They lived in large mansions or castles that are still currently in the hands of their descendants. These large buildings currently comprise the architectural heritage of the town.
Today, the City is experiencing a dynamism due to the proximity of the Toulouse area. The number of farmers has declined sharply due to the enlargement of farms, but agriculture is still a dynamic sector of the local economy.
A new population settled in the territory, composed of English families in search of sun and near the golf course as well as young couples attracted by the pleasant and the rural character of the town.
